Biography

Thomas Tishler is the Summer Business Intern at FR Global Macro (FRGM), where he supports business operations, research workflows, and product initiatives. He created the firm’s website from initial concept through launch, translating FRGM’s research process, products, and institutional identity into the site’s visual direction and information architecture. Using an iterative, AI-assisted development process, he organized and refined content, built the responsive experience, tested it across devices and browsers, and developed the research library and supporting publishing workflows. He is an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) with a minor in Statistics & Data Science. He is also the founder and lead engineer of Tish Studios, an iOS AI app-development studio. There, he taught himself modern AI and pair-programming tools, then independently designed, built, and submitted Loopa for iOS App Store review. The app features multi-instrument support, loop recording, piano-roll editing, and audio/MIDI export. He also built tishstudios.com as a portfolio hub. His background blends quantitative coursework with hands-on product engineering and community leadership, including volunteer work with Best Buddies and leading a Unified Sports program affiliated with the Special Olympics. A triple citizen of the United States, United Kingdom, and Italy who was raised in London, he is proficient in Italian and has played piano since age five.
