Quantitative Developer
Biography
Siddhartha Patoliya is a quantitative developer at FR Global Macro (FRGM), where he builds the internal analytics platform the desk uses to study market reactions to macroeconomic data releases. His work integrates market data with macro indicators to support event-based analysis — examining price action, volatility, and cross-asset behavior around key economic announcements — and includes building data pipelines, running time-series analysis, and creating the visualizations that support macro research and investment decisions. He works closely with the firm's quantitative researchers to translate macro themes into systematic, data-driven insights. He interned as an analyst at Deutsche Bank, where he migrated and optimized an internal codebase used by quant traders and researchers, working with Python tooling such as Flask, Marshmallow, and OpenAPI. He is pursuing a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and has completed machine-learning coursework through DeepLearning.AI.
